Rihanna was flaunting her love of designer fashion as she stepped out for a late-night dinner date with boyfriend A$AP Rocky on Tuesday.

The Barbados native, 33, donned items from the Gucci and Balenciaga Hacker Project collaboration, including a gilet and shawl worn as a headscarf, as she headed to dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Tuesday night.

She was joined by her boyfriend, 33, who she’s been confirmed to be dating since May 2021, for the trip, in which she donned the stylish ensemble, which featured two items ringing in at $3,000 (£4,100).

On her top half, Rihanna wore the Balenciaga Women’s Natural Hacker Cocoon Puffer Gilet which rings in at an eye-popping $2,500 (£1,850)

She then kept her hair under wraps with her scarf meanwhile – The Hacker Project maxi GG print silk shawl – which costs $530 (£390).

Her glasses were also from Gucci, with the thick black frame featuring Gucci’s instantly recognisable monogram along with deep red lenses.

She completed her look with a dark brown skirt and nude heels with thin straps and a toe post for the late night dinner date.

The Hacker Project was unveiled between the two fashion houses in November last year, as the brainchild of Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia and his Gucci counterpart Alessandro Michele.

The aim of the range was to explore authenticity and saw the Gucci GG monogram be replaced with BB in a nod to Balenciaga’s logo.

Accompanying his girlfriend’s cutting edge ensemble, A$AP Rocky stepped out with a white knitted head covering with an attached face mask, staying safe amid the surging omicron variant of COVID-19.

He also wore a brown plaid dress shirt under a blue denim short with a white pin that read, ‘Be Kind For Real.’ The rapper finished his look with bejeweled light grey sweat pants and light grey Nike sneakers for the outing.

There had been rumors of romance between Rihanna and A$AP Rocky for years, after he provided a verse on her 2012 track Cockiness (I Love It) and she was featured in the video for his 2013 song Fashion Killa.

They were believed to have started dating sometime in 2020 after Rihanna split from her then-billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel.

Rocky confirmed their relationship in a May 2021 interview with GQ where he called her ‘the love of my life.’
