Kanye West returned to Instagram on Sunday after having his account restricted, believed to be for
30 days, for violating the social media platform’s policies on October 31
Kanye West has apologised for “using curse words in the church” in a bizarre post on his return to
Instagram.
The rapper, known legally as Ye, had his account restricted on October 31 for violating the
platform’s policies.
The restrictions were thought to be in place for the next 30 days, which meant Ye was not be able to
post, comment or send direct messages for the duration and had previous content removed from his account.
He made his return on Sunday night with a post about new Twitter boss Elon Musk, who banned
him from his social media platform on Thursday, as he wanted to “incite a mass investigation”
about the Tesla founder’s childhood photos, while also having a dig at former President Barack
Obama.
Ye, who has 18.4 million followers on Instagram, captioned his lengthy post by saying: “On Jay Zs birthday, Future president of the United States Ye uses Mark Zuckerberg’s platform to incite a mass investigation of Elon Musk’s childhood photos in the midst of Balenciagagate.
“I call this The theory of everything. Problem solved. Praise God.”
The post racked up over 879k likes and over 38,500 comments as the 45-year-old diced with having his account restricted once again with his controversial views.
Kanye’s post read: “Am I the only one who thinks Elon could be half Chinese? Have you seen his pics as a child?
“Take a Chinese genius and mate them with a South African super model and we have an Elon.
“I say an Elon because they probably made 10 to 30 Elons and he’s the first genetic hybrid that stuck… well let’s not forget about Obama.
“I’m sorry for using curse words in the church but I don’t have another word for Obama yet. YE24 let’s unify and find out.”
On Thursday, the musician posted a series of erratic tweets, one of which appeared to show a symbol combining a swastika and a Jewish star.
In another tweet, Kanye shared a photo of NBA star Chris Paul and he claimed he had ‘caught wife Kim Kardashian with.’
Prior to the Twitter meltdown, the Yeezus star sparked huge backlash with vile remarks made during a rambling interview with US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and white nationalist Nick Fuentes on Infowars, where he repeatedly praised Adolf Hitler and admitted he “sees good things” and “likes” the Nazi leader.
“I like Hitler,” Ye said, with his face covered in a black balaclava. “I see good things about Hitler… every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”
“He added: They did good things too, we’ve got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time… I love the Nazis.”
