Despite the hit songs that he makes, Kanye West has been attracting quite a bit of heat from the
world due to his rants. The rapper has often faced the wrath of the cancel culture, too. However,
Joe Rogan has swooped in to support the famed rapper multiple times. But even the greatest of fans
can’t support a celebrity for long. Rogan, even though admitted to being a fan of West, recently
ranted about West’s tendency to speak without thinking about the consequences.
In the recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the 56-year-old podcaster sat together with Tim Dillon. While the conversation involved a boatload of topics, one topic revolved around Kanye West. Let’s see what the beloved UFC color commentator had to say about the famed rapper.
Joe Rogan gives his verdict on Kanye West’s songs and rants
In episode #2162 of the JRE, Rogan provided the podcast audience with an honest assessment of West’s songs. It wasn’t an unknown fact that the UFC commentator was a giant fan of West’s raps. But did you know that West also dominates Rogan’s Spotify playlists? Well, that’s what the podcaster claims. He said, “I mean listen, that madness inside of him was why his f***ing songs are bangers. They’re just banger after banger. His f***ing new album is amazing! It’s amazing, dude! We play in the green room all the time. In all my Spotify playlists, I think there is more Kanye songs than anything.”
The JRE guest also agreed with Rogan on West being a genius. However, the talks soon shifted to the musician’s downsides. Despite the successful career he has in the world of music, West has often found himself in the crosshairs of those he seemingly offended with his words. Dillon pointed out that the judgment for someone like West should be different for the times he utters something ‘crazy’.
But Rogan soon provided his verdict on West’s rants. He said, “Well, it’s like he’s his own enemy. It’s just like he can’t, the rants just go. They just come flying out. And who knows how much of it he’s really even committed to until he says it, and then once he’s saying it then he’s really committed.”
