Her son-in-law Kanye West may own one of the world’s best-known clothing empires, but Alexandra Censori is still
shopping at second hand clothing stores.
The mother of Bianca Censori, who recently caught up with her 29-year-old daughter during a whirlwind trip home
to Australia, was spotted visiting pre-loved designer clothing stores in Toorak, Melbourne on Tuesday.
While Bianca has courted plenty of negative publicity over her racy outfits, some of which come with low hemlines
but big price tags, Alexandra dressed modestly for the solo outing.
Clad in a grey trench coat, matching knitted midi-dress, black tights and heels, the blonde was seen browsing the
racks of the store.
She completed her look with a woven leather shoulder bag and a glamorous makeup look including pink lipstick and
peach blush.
Alexandra went shopping for bargains at Secondo, which touts itself as the home of Melbourne’s ‘premier recycle and consignment boutique of pre-loved garments and accessories, and left looking satisfied with her purchase.
She then made her way to Stop Sharing, which sells garments for as little as $100.
However, despite spending a good half hour in the store, she couldn’t find anything to her liking.
Alexandra’s penchant for bargains may come as a surprise, given that her son-in-law Kanye owns Yeezy, one of the world’s best-known fashion brands.
Yeezy, best known for its popular and extremely pricey line of sneakers, was once valued at $1.5billion.
Unfortunately for Kanye, the past 18 months have been anything but smooth sailing for the company amid the controversial fallout with Adidas.
The German sportswear giant terminated its partnership with Yeezy in late 2022, after he triggered an outcry with a series of anti-Semitic social media posts.
Bianca met her now-husband after she was employed by Yeezy in November 2020 as its ‘head of architecture’.
Two years earlier, Kanye had announced his plans to extend Yeezy with an architecture division ‘to make the world better’.
The Grammy winner once again announced his intentions to expand the company in May, this time revealing he was launching an adult entertainment studio called Yeezy Porn.
Kanye’s plan for Yeezy Porn sparked to a wave of backlash from fans who had gravitated to him in recent years when he turned his focus toward Christian-themed music, including his 2019 album Jesus Is King and his Sunday Services.
Meanwhile, reports have surfaced claiming Bianca’s loved ones are concerned her husband Kanye is ‘dragging her into the adult film world’ and using her to promote his new Yeezy Porn venture.
Bianca’s family and friends are said to be among the critics and fear the architectural designer will be ‘used’ to ‘promote sexual indecency’ by the controversial musician.
‘Bianca’s family was willing to give Kanye the benefit of the doubt after her mum’s recent visit to LA,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.
‘They were even trying to accept that he was not forcing Bianca to do anything. They were aware of Kanye and Bianca’s project to create and sell their own brand of clothing.
‘But with two feminist sisters and an equally feminist mother, it is hard to rationalise or accept her involvement in this new venture.’
They continued: ‘The fact that he is dragging her into the adult film world with him and using her as a billboard already to promote sexual indecency is absolutely appalling and very worrying.
‘They feel he has convinced her that this is a good idea because it will make them wealthier.’
But their fears have reportedly risen after Milo Yiannopoulos, the Chief of Staff of Kanye’s Yeezy brand, officially quit because he could not be ‘complicit in the production and dissemination of pornographic films and literature for moral and religious reasons.’
